JCP Faculty Researcher Featured in Special Issue of Experimental Physiology
The Editors of Experimental Physiology, an official publication of The Physiological Society, have announced plans to publish a special issue of Experimental Physiology, celebrating “Women Authors in Experimental Physiology 2015”. A paper by Dr. Gabriela Cristina Brailoiu, Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, entitled “Bradycardic effects mediated by activation of G protein-coupled estrogen receptor in rat nucleus ambiguus” has been selected for inclusion in this issue. The Physiological Society brings together over 3000 scientists from over 60 countries. Since its foundation in 1876, its Members have made significant contributions to our knowledge of biological systems and the treatment of disease. This year the Society is celebrating the centenary of the first women members of the Society.
