Huan Dong, MD, a 3rd-year resident, is the recipient of the Association of University Radiologists 2016 Memorial Award for best manuscript submitted by a radiology resident, first-year fellow, or medical student.

In March 2015, Flemming Forsberg, PhD, received the Joseph H. Holmes Basic Science Pioneer Award given by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine

The Division of Breast Imaging now offers 3D breast tomosynthesis for mammography. Jefferson is also the only hospital in the Delaware Valley to offer breast cryoablation service for fibroadenoma. Feroze B. Mohammed, PhD (PI). NIH grant award:  “Neuroimaging based on DTI as a biomarker for spinal cord injury in children.” 4/01/2013-3/30/2018; ($1,715,156). This funding was transferred when Dr. Mohammed joined the Jefferson faculty in fall 2015.
