Jefferson Anesthesiology will be hosting the 10th anniversary Pennsylvania Resident Research Conference. (PARRC)

Abstract submission information:
Please note that Scientific Abstracts presented at last year’s ASA meeting (2014) are eligible for submission to PARRC. Medically Challenging Cases presented at the ASA are NOT eligible for submission to PARRC.

All abstracts need to be one (1) page (combined 500 word limit for starred* sections) in standard abstract format using Times New Roman font no smaller than 11 points:

Original Research- Abstract Title, Presenter/Affiliation, Author(s), Introduction*, Objective*, Methods*, Results*, Conclusions*, and References,

or

Case Report or Quality Improvement Projects- Abstract Title, Presenter/Affiliation, Author(s), Introduction*, Case Description*, Discussion*, and References

If needed, References, Figures, and Tables may be included on a second page.

PARRC Photos, Awards, and Future Meeting Information

Podium Presentations

  • Oral podium presentations will have one Session Moderator and three Judges.
    • Presentations are strictly limited to 8 minutes, which is part of the judging criteria.
    • The Session Moderator will give a warning on minute 7 that one minute remains.
    • Two minutes will be given for questions following your presentation.
  • We recommend that you plan on having no more than 20 slides for your presentation. Please be sure to send in your Final Power Point Slide Presentation to Dr. Marc Torjman copied to Mr. Curtis Schley by Friday May 1, 2015.

Poster Presentations

  • Posters should be 3 feet high X 4 feet wide and mounted in the morning after checking in at the registration desk.
  • Presenters will have about 5 minutes to present their poster in front of two judges within their assigned group.  Judges or peers may ask you questions about your study or case and will score each presentation.
