Jefferson Summer Training & Enrichment Program for Underrepresented Persons
The Physical Therapy Summer Training & Enrichment Program for Underrepresented Persons (PT STEP-UP) is an academic enrichment program for minorities, first generation college, LGBTQ, or students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds who are interested in physical therapy. The on-campus program offers an introduction to the field of physical therapy, classroom and clinical observation experiences, time management and study skills training, personal statement and resume development, and an introduction to the admissions process for physical therapy programs.
Audience: Rising college sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in becoming a physical therapist
Location: Thomas Jefferson University
Dates: Mondays – Thursdays; June 5, 2017 - June 15, 2017
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (Breakfast & Lunch provided)
