Jefferson College of Health Professions offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with the option of three majors. Our Programs are designed to serve adults who work full-time but have not completed a Baccalaureate degree, especially licensed or credentialed allied health professionals (nurses, paramedics, rad-techs, etc.), medical practice workers or administrators and information systems and computer technicians, and who are interested in highly-focused and accelerated part-time college options. Our curricula are designed to prepare students to continue on to graduate programs (MBA, MHA, MIS-HS) at area institutions that specialize in health services management or health services management information systems.
The Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management (BS-HSM) prepares individuals for entry-level management in a wide variety of healthcare settings. Graduates organize, coordinate and supervise the delivery of healthcare services.
The Bachelor of Science in Health Professions Management (BS-HPM) prepares working clinicians for management and leadership positions within their profession. The Program is designed for licensed and credentialed healthcare professionals who have not completed a bachelor’s degree.
The Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management Information Systems (BS-HSMIS) prepares individuals for entry-level management in a wide variety of healthcare settings. Graduates focus on technology and information systems, such as database and network management, at healthcare facilities.
