The majority of your prerequisites must be completed before an admissions decision can be made. You do not need to have your prerequisites completed before you apply. You may also earn credits through standardized tests, including CLEP.

Degree & GPA
Students are required to have a Bachelor's degree (MS or PhD preferred) in biotech, science, engineering, business or marketing (disciplines are preferred but not required) with a preferred 2+ years of experience working in medical product development or similar. A 3.0 GPA is strongly recommended.
Courses & Credits
A course in statistics is required. It must be completed within 10 years of applying to Thomas Jefferson University.

If your courses were completed outside of the United States, you must submit a course-by-course evaluation from WES.
Describe how you became interested in the field of medical product development, your specific areas of interest in the field, and your professional and research goals.
Two letters of recommendation are required by TJAPP for application completion.
Students will need to provide the name and email address of recommenders during time of application. TJAPP will email a recommendation form directly to the references. References return the recommendation form directly to TJAPP, not the student.
If you have letters of recommendation previously written for you by a reference, contact your counselor directly.
International students who are in the U.S. on an F-1 are unable to take completely online programs. The Certificate in Medical Product Development is an online program, so F-1 applicants are not eligible. Other international students are welcome to apply to the program.
