Graduate Student Association raises $1,400 for their charity raffle
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) of Jefferson College of Biomedical Sciences held its 8th annual charity raffle this year on Friday, October 30th. All proceeds will benefit Camp Dreamcatcher, a local non-profit organization that provides a variety of services for children whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS. Camp Dreamcatcher's mission is to provide therapeutic and educational programs to HIV/AIDS impacted youth and their families and to foster an atmosphere of tolerance, compassion, respect and understanding through volunteer opportunities, services and expanded community outreach. These include but are not limited to medical care, therapy, counseling and summer camp.
Congratulations to the group for raising $1,400 this year! JCBS students dressed in their best halloween costumes and the winners of the costume contest included:

Best Duo: The Price is Right by Ileine Sanchez and husband, Pete
Best Group: Forest Friends by Farha Ali
