JCBS Welcome Students for Fall Orientation 2015


Jefferson College of Biomedical Sciences will be holding its New Student Orientation for all students admitted to the Spring, Summer, Pre-Fall, and Fall terms.  Attendance is required.

Wear something showing your undergraduate school logo!

Registration begins at 1:30 PM at Alumni Hall – Mezzanine level

Orientation Program begins at 2:00 PM

For those starting in the Fall (or if you haven't completed these requirements) please contact Marc Stearns at if you have any questions regarding the following pre-matriculation requirements:

  1. University Health-Medical Records Requirement: All Jefferson students have to complete the medical records requirement and submit the forms to University Health Services. Please see the link for more information and let me know when you send in the forms: University Health Services 

    PhD, MS & Certificate students will fill out: Category/Tier 3
    Postbac Students will fill out: Category/Tier 2

    Please begin this ASAP. This needs to be completed by your first day of classes.
  2. Health Insurance: All Jefferson students are required to have Health Insurance. Enroll in the University’s student health insurance plan or complete the waiver process if you already have health insurance. Click here to visit the College’s insurance website for more information.

Photo Identification Badges will NOT be taken at the orientation program.  If you have not had your photo ID taken, please see info below. You can go to the Photo Center the day of orientation from 1:00 – 2:00 pm.

The Customer Service Counter, located in the Jefferson Bookstore at 1009 Chestnut Street provides the Jefferson Community with the Jefferson ID Card allowing convenient, effective, and secure access to all card related services.  These services include personal identification, facilities access and access monitoring, Commuter Services transactions (parking and transit), discount ticket sales, and student printing at the Scott Memorial Library.  More functionality will be added in the near future!
