Celebration of Life 2002

Cancer Survivors Day Celebration, Thursday, May 30, 2002

Cancer survivors rejoiced at the third annual "Celebration of Life" gathering, hosted by the Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University on May 30, 2002 on the Jefferson campus.

The "Celebration of Life" honors the lives and accomplishments of all cancer survivors with music, food, and an exhibit of art and writing by cancer survivors, who have detailed their "journey" through words and images. The gathering also featured inspirational talks by special guest speakers and cancer survivors.
