Jefferson Oncology
Group
The Jefferson
Oncology Group (JOG) is a cancer research cooperative comprised
of members of the Jefferson Cancer Network and their affiliated
physicians. JOG, established by oncology leaders in the Jefferson
Health System, provides the infrastructure to conduct collaborative
clinical cancer research. Rapid patient accrual is faciliated by
JOG's single-signature contracting and single Institutional Review
Board. In addition to treatment research, JOG is a national and
regional leader in Cancer Prevention and Control research. Research
projects involve basic, medical, and behavioral sciences.
