Kimmel Cancer Center Administration

The Administration office, under the leadership of the Administrative Director, is responsible for those functions, which relate to financial administration, administration of grant accounts, personnel and payroll administration, purchasing and accounts payable management, construction and renovation, and arrangements for staff meetings, lectures, symposia, seminars, and site visits. Through the regular interaction of the Administrative Director and the Administrator of the Clinical Science Division a free flow of information of interest to both basic and clinical scientists is maintained. The Administrative Director sits on the KCC Membership, Executive, Manager's, and Strategic Planning Committees. Additionally, the Administrative Secretary acts as the staff for KCC Committees.

The Administration staff maintains coordination and interaction with the executive offices and staffs of the Jefferson Medical College, the College of Graduate Studies, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and the central administration of the University. Working relationships are also maintained with the various external agencies and entities with which the Cancer Center interacts.
