Albert Einstein Medical Center is a 633-bed teaching hospital offering a full range of advanced cancer services. Einstein's Cancer Service Line provides modern treatment for more than 1,400 newly diagnosed patients annually. Our mission is to provide excellent patient care, conduct well-designed clinical research trials, hold educational programs, and bring cancer-screening programs to our community. Patients receive state-of-the-art therapies in a new, patient-focused treatment facility and personal attention to their needs. Patient care is coordinated through disease specific programs including breast, lung, prostate, GI and leukemia/lymphoma. During multidisciplinary conferences, diagnosis, staging and treatment options are discussed for newly diagnosed patients. This type of multidisciplinary consultation ensures that all patients will receive the benefits of modern therapy with the best chance for a favorable outcome.

Einstein's clinical research programs provide the option for patients to receive the newest types of cancer treatments, while exploring innovative approaches designed to improve outcomes. Einstein physicians work cooperatively with Jefferson Kimmel Cancer Center Network colleagues in an organized approach to the study of new treatments. This collaboration will benefit current and future patients. Within the Cancer Center's videoconferencing facility, educational programs are conducted to share advances in basic and clinical research with Einstein's staff.
