Center for Digital Innovation & Consumer Experience
The Technology Innovation and Consumer Experience team is launching the Center for Digital Innovation and Consumer Experience (CDICE) to provide shared enterprise services around digital innovation and consumer experience to Jefferson’s internal and external stakeholders.
Formalizing CDICE will enable us to broaden our collaborative networks to other institutions; provide leadership, best practices, support and/or training; attract investment and research; and design, develop, and launch new software solutions, portals, technologies and associated business concepts that address the pivotal areas of digital innovation and consumer experience in education and health care.

In December 2016 Jefferson Health was recognized by IDG as a Digital Edge 50 award winner, for improving patient safety and experience. On March 22, Praveen Chopra, Chief Information and Transformative Innovative Environment Officer and Mouneer Odeh, Vice President, Enterprise Analytics and Chief Data Scientist accepted the award at Agenda 17, a cross-industry ceremony.

Patients at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital will soon have access to bedside virtual assistants, which, among other things, will be able to remind them to walk at periodic intervals to speed their recovery, dim the lights, list visiting hours, play music, and narrate bios of their medical staff.
