Sarah Parvin Memorial SoccerFest
Dr. Jordan Winter and Chris Schultz, a doctoral student in the Brody Lab at Jefferson, traveled to Quakertown, PA for the 10th Annual Sarah Parvin 24-Hour Memorial SoccerFest. Every year, the Sarah Parvin Foundation donates proceeds to support ovarian cancer research in the Brody Lab at Jefferson.
The Sarah Parvin Foundation was created in 2007 to honor the memory of Sarah Alexandra Parvin, who was diagnosed with small cell ovarian cancer with hypercalcemia at the age of 11. Sarah lost her battle with cancer a year later.
