Second Annual Patient and Family Conference: Thursday September 18, 2003 Jefferson Alumni Hall For Information, please call 215-955-1715 agenda and printable registration form At some point during our lives, one in two men and one in three women can expect to hear the doctor say, "You have cancer." As devastating as these words are, there are things that can be done to help you heal following that diagnosis. Becoming educated is one of them. The purpose of this conference is to give people who have received a diagnosis of cancer some of the tools they need not only to deal with the disease, but to live the healthiest life possible. The workshops are structured to be valuable to people whatever their stage of illness or treatment, whether they are currently in treatment, have completed treatment or have not yet begun. These workshops can also be very helpful for family members , friends, and healthcare professionals. We invite all of you to join in this unique learning experience. |
